Bologna 0-3 AC Milan: Loftus-Cheek, Nkunku and Rabiot score in rout
"AC Milan piled more misery on Bologna at the Stadio Renato dall'Ara on Tuesday night, as they ran out comfortable 3-0 winners. The bulk of the work was done in an impressive first half by Milan, as Ruben Loftus-Cheek fired in the first goal from Adrien Rabiot's cut-back deep inside the box, and then Christopher Nkunku buried a penalty that his run in behind had earned."
"Rabiot turned from provider to scorer early in the second half as he slotted home after a rogue throw-in from Juan Miranda, and the Rossoneri even missed other chances to perhaps make it a real humiliation. The win means that the unbeaten run stretched to 22 games in Serie A, while Milan move back to five points behind Inter, but perhaps crucially have opened up a seven-point gap to Roma who are in fifth place."
AC Milan beat Bologna 3-0 at the Stadio Renato dall'Ara, with Loftus-Cheek opening the scoring from Adrien Rabiot's cut-back and Nkunku converting a penalty. Rabiot scored early in the second half after a rogue Juan Miranda throw-in, and Milan missed further chances to increase the lead. The victory extended Milan's Serie A unbeaten run to 22 matches, moved them five points behind Inter, and increased their lead over Roma in fifth to seven points. Massimiliano Allegri made four changes, including Pavlovic, Athekame, Fofana and Loftus-Cheek in the starting XI. Bologna began strongly with early pressure, created corners and saw Heggem head over, while an early Nkunku pass set up Loftus-Cheek for a chance that Ravaglia saved; midfield became fractious with challenges on Jonathan Rowe, Adrien Rabiot and Luka Modric.
