AC Milan Dismantled By Borussia Dortmund In 3-1 Loss As Injuries Mount
Briefly

AC Milan were beaten 3-1 by Borussia Dortmund at the San Sir last night as they are practically dumped out of the Champions League bar a miracle on the final match day.
The Rossoneri went down early but equalised and looked to be in charge heading into half time. Olivier Giroud missed a penalty while Marco Reus scored a penalty in the opening 10 minutes.
The best moment of the game was Samuel Chukwueze finally turning up and scoring a wonder goal as he weaved his way through the defence from the right wing at the touchline before firing off a rocket in the side netting at the back post to equalise for us.
Everything came crumbling down when Malick Thiaw seemed to pull his hamstring in the 53rd minute after a race to clear the ball from Dortmund winger Bynoe-Gittens. With no natural centre backs on the bench, Stefano Pioli brought on Rade Krunic and it all went downhill. We conceded just 6 minutes later with Davide Calabria and Krunic out of position. Dortmund would seal their win ten minutes after their second goal as the defence got ripped open again on the right side for a harsh 3-1 loss.
