"Then, Pulisic allowed Christopher Nkunku to take a penalty that he won early in the second half, which he converted emphatically for his first Serie A goal since arriving at the club. Nkunku scored again a few minutes later, tapping home from close range after a Luka Modric shot had been tipped onto the post but rolled across the line, and the Frenchman reacted first."
"Despite the goals not being the most flashy, he finally had a big impact on the game. He won a penalty for his side and converted it calmly to make the score 2-0 and then reacted quickly to beat the keeper on a loose ball and tap it in to get the third and final goal. In addition, he combined better with his team-mates and his build-up was much much better this time out."
AC Milan defeated Hellas Verona 3-0 at San Siro to finish 2025 with a win. Christian Pulisic opened the scoring in added time at the end of the first half by capitalising on a corner flick-on. Pulisic won an early second-half penalty and allowed Christopher Nkunku to take it; Nkunku converted emphatically for his first Serie A goal since arriving in summer. Nkunku then scored again from close range after a Luka Modric shot was tipped onto the post and rolled across the line. Nkunku's brace ended a 15-game goalless run and showed improved combination play with teammates.
