The crosser Jeremy Paxman got, the more we giggled': what it's like to come last on a TV show
Briefly

Five TV contestants reflect on their experiences after finishing last in competitive reality shows. They discuss their initial motivations for participating, the emotional impact of their early exits, and the lessons learned from their failures. Contestant Yin Lu shares how she attempted to present a softer persona through her wardrobe choices and acknowledges that her high energy may have made her appear threatening. Despite not achieving success on the show, the contestants express a desire to learn from their experiences and embrace vulnerability.
I should have been more vulnerable, maybe cried. I wanted to come across as whimsical to make myself less threatening.
With hindsight, I was too high-energy and articulate, which marked my card as a potential threat.
I was sad I didn't get to experience a breakfast or a Round Table. It felt as if I'd only had a tiny taster of an extravagant 12-course meal.
It was gut-wrenching to watch the series after I was booted off. The missions were brilliant. I would've loved to topple that giant Traitor statue.
