Google Essentials will house all Google services in a single Windows app

The new Google Essentials app, appearing on HP laptops, will bundle Google’s core services, including Google Photos, Drive, and Messages, alongside essential user information.

This app aims to streamline access to Google services and will provide eligible users with a two-month trial of Google One cloud storage for 100GB.

As Google Essentials launches exclusively on new HP models such as Spectre and Envy, there are plans for broader availability on other Windows PCs in the future.

Drawing parallels with Microsoft’s Windows Live Essentials, Google Essentials indicates a shift towards centralized app collection, enhancing user efficiency across Google’s ecosystem.
