Seeking nominations for Business Insider's most innovative CMOs of 2026 list - submit entries by March 27
"CMOs are navigating a convergence of challenges: political and economic uncertainty, rapid technological upheaval driven by artificial intelligence, and a decline in mass-reach media, forcing them to seek new channels, such as influencer marketing, to continue connecting with consumers. All the while, they're under growing scrutiny to prove marketing's direct impact on the bottom line. We want to showcase the CMOs who are leading from the top and inspiring the next generation of marketers."
"The list will consider factors such as the executives' influence on their company's financial performance, their roles and responsibilities, the size and impact of the brands they represent, and how these executives are driving the entire marketing profession forward. We highly recommend supporting your entries with case studies and quantitative data. While information about the individual's broader career history will be helpful context, the entries should focus on the impact nominees have had over the past 12 months."
Business Insider is collecting nominations for its 11th annual list of the most innovative chief marketing officers, with entries due by 5 p.m. ET on March 27. Nominees must be the senior-most marketing executive at their company and have served in their current role for at least six months; the CMO title is not required. The list will evaluate influence on company financial performance, roles and responsibilities, brand size and impact, and contributions to the marketing profession. Nominations should emphasize impact over the past 12 months and include case studies and quantitative data when possible. The full list will be revealed at Cannes Lions on June 23.
