A flood alert has been issued for riverside areas in Dartford and south east London following heavy rainfall this week. The alert covers the Dartford Creek up to the Thames Barrier in south east London.
Residents in affected areas are being advised to monitor local water levels and weather conditions whilst flood alerts are in place, and to act on their flood plans.
