The Berkeley Bay Festival at Shorebird Park in the Berkeley Marina on Saturday was the perfect celebration of local wildlife and the San Francisco Bay, attracting hundreds of visitors with exhibits, live music, and hands-on activities.
The event featured live music by Purple Fox and the Heebie Jeebies, West Grand Brass Band, Pan Extasy, and performances by the Prescott Circus Theatre, creating a lively atmosphere for festival goers to enjoy while picnicking or exploring the food trucks.
A highlight of the festival was the Mobile Fish exhibit brought by the East Bay Regional Parks District, featuring aquatic animals in a 1500-gallon tank, including a Red-eared Slider turtle, providing visitors with an up-close look at local wildlife.
