a light peach tone engulfs every corner inside this two-family house in barcelona
Briefly

Architects Adrià Escolano and David Steegmann transformed a single-family house in Sant Cugat del Vallés into a two-family residence by juxtaposing rooms of varying sizes to create a sense of elegance, spaciousness, and symmetry.
The Two Families House renovation in Barcelona features camouflaging interventions that blend new programmatic elements with existing geometries and calligraphy, emphasizing the value of space over its individual components through a uniform color palette.
The project includes energy efficiency improvements integrated into the building envelope, with one home on the ground floor connected to the garden and the second home spanning two upper floors, complemented by shared community spaces in the semi-basement.
