No discussion of email lawbreaking is complete without throwing a few jailhouse confessions into the mix to illustrate my point that all of us have committed some marketing infraction.

Witnessing inadvertent and deliberate email misdeeds is common. Helping companies clean up and adhere to email marketing laws is crucial. Establishing goals to comply with regulations like CAN-SPAM, CASL, or GDPR is necessary.
Purchasing email lists, although not illegal in the U.S., violates best practices. Such actions can harm deliverability and reputation. Adhering to laws and permission-based marketing is crucial for email success.
