Met Eireann issues Status Yellow thunderstorm warning for nine counties this evening

Isolated thunderstorms with a chance of hail are expected in regions including Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wicklow, Galway, Tipperary. These thunderstorms could lead to difficult traveling conditions, poor visibility, and spot flooding.
On Sunday, the northern half of the country will be overcast, while the south will experience dry and bright conditions with sunny spells and a few showers. Temperatures will range between 13C and 18C, dropping to 9C-12C overnight.
Next week will start cloudy with some patchy rain and drizzle, but with bright and sunny spells on Monday. Daytime temperatures between 13C-18C and nights as low as 8C. Tuesday showers will impact coastal areas with highs of 13C-16C and lows of 4C-7C overnight.
Though later in the week is expected to be more unsettled, Wednesday will likely be dry with sunny spells and temperatures ranging from 14C to 18C.
