Police received multiple 911 calls reporting that someone had jumped from Fore River Bridge into the channel, Quincy Police said in a statement.
The Quincy Police Marine Unit was deployed and found a person in the water near the fender system of the bridge, police said.
No further information was available about the person's condition or the incident as of Sunday afternoon.
