Google's AI Overviews aim to consolidate information from various sources into one relevant answer. It's new, known before as Search Generative Experience, and particularly useful for brainstorming or planning.
Perplexity uses LLM for every search, pausing in some cases for user clarification. Reference links are included to assist with verification. Users may have more control over the AI's response accuracy.
