The Commanders have dealt with extreme turbulence in their receiver room this season. Terry McLaurin is about to miss his fifth game of the campaign. Noah Brown hasn't been on the field since Week 2, and he'll be out for a lot longer yet. That's left Washington relying on less experienced players and practice squad elevations, which isn't exactly ideal.
ASHBURN, Va. - Washington Commanders receiver Terry McLaurin will miss his fourth consecutive game with a right quad injury, coach Dan Quinn said Friday, another blow for a team in need of better health. McLaurin injured his right quad in a Week 3 win over the Raiders and there was hope he'd return for Sunday's game at Dallas (2-3-1). "It's frustrating for him because he's working at it hard," Quinn said.
SANTA CLARA The 49ers moved to fortify an injury-laden position Wednesday with the acquisition of Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore. Moore played only six games for the Chiefs last year before going on injured reserve with a core muscle injury. He had hamstring issues during training camp leading to the core injury. First reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter, the deal reportedly includes an exchange of sixth- and seventh-round draft picks. The 49ers have not confirmed the trade.
