Grady Emerson has been the top high school prospect for a while now, and scouts have always loved a lefty-hitting shortstop. His approach is great, he has a great feel for the game, and evaluators see a little bit of Corey Seager in him.

Carlos Acuna gave up one hit in six innings and struck out 11. He also had two hits, contributing significantly to Birmingham's 8-0 victory over Granada Hills.
