Retailers to pay for consumers' e-waste recycling from 2026 under UK plans
British households will benefit from improved routes for recycling electronic goods from 2026, with producers and retailers paying for household and in-store collections.
The measures aim to reduce the amount of electrical waste that ends up in landfill and shift the cost of disposal from taxpayers to retailers. [ more ]
