Reuters A man has been charged with robbery and attempted robbery after more than 30,000 worth of iPhones were stolen from an Apple store. Avram Stoica, 20, of no fixed abode, allegedly targeted the new iPhone 17 phones at the company's store at the Lakeside shopping centre in Thurrock, Essex, on 22 September. Detectives found that a nursing home employee checked on Smirnova and Kravtsov at 8:55 p.m. that night, where Kravtsov was seen sleeping in her bed. An hour later, the employee checked on the room again, where Kravtsov was still in her bed, but this time covered in blood "with gash marks about her face and head." Meanwhile, Smirnova was discovered washing her hands in the bathroom. Her shirt was covered in blood. The employee further noted that a wheelchair inside the room was missing its foot pedals. One pedal was found outside on the ground under a window. The other was on inside the room covered in blood.
