To vote in California, you must be a U.S. citizen and resident of California, at least 18 years old on Election Day, not currently serving a prison term for a felony conviction, not deemed mentally incompetent to vote by a court, and registered to vote.
Dual citizens who hold American citizenship can register to vote in California as long as they do not require a visa, residency permit, or immigration protection. [ more ]
