Brendan Donovan is a utility player (primarily second baseman) who plays for the St. Louis Cardinals. About to turn 29 on January 16, he was born in Germany while his father was stationed there, and grew up an Army brat, moving around. He's credited that upbringing for forging his team-first mentality, his desire to always do the right thing, and his willingness to work hard.

Okamoto is another addition to an already very strong Blue Jays infield, including Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Ernie Clement, Addison Barger, and Andrés Giménez. Okamoto is primarily a corner infielder, but he is also capable of playing the outfield. During his introductory press conference on Tuesday, both Okamoto and Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins alluded to Okamoto taking on a utility role with the Blue Jays.

Walton has appeared in six of the last seven MLB seasons, though 49 of his 72 games in the Show came in 2021-22 with the Mariners and Giants. After signing a minors deal with the Mets last offseason, Walton was traded to the Phillies in July, and continued to toil away on the farm until his contact was selected to Philadelphia's active roster in September.

Amaya joins the system after spending the 2025 season with the White Sox. He appeared in a career-high 36 games but only batted .106 with one extra-base hit (a double) in 73 trips to the plate. The 27-year-old spent the rest of the season with Triple-A Charlotte. He hit .250/.352/.420 with nine homers across 219 plate appearances. He posted decent batted ball metrics but struck out in 29% of his trips to the dish.

He's Isaiah Kiner-Falefa, or IKF for short. The former Yankee also spent time in Texas and Toronto before signing a 2-year, 15 million dollar year with the Blue Jays, who then traded him to the Pirates at that trade deadline. He was then claimed off waivers by the Jays to mark his second stint with the team in as many years. He's a shortstop primarily, but has also spent considerable time at second base and third base in his seven-year career.
