State to pay for doctors to train in North if they take up work here after qualifying
Irish students will now be able to study medicine in universities in Belfast and Derry at the same fee rate as students in the Republic of Ireland.
The subsidy is conditional on students committing to working for the HSE after graduation. [ more ]
