With the middleweight division booming, the UFC seemingly set up an unofficial tournament between the four main contenders to see whose performance would stand out of the pack. The first of those matchups was between Nassourdine Imavov and Caio Borralho. While the Frenchman was in control the entire fight, it's not like he put on the type of show that will raise his profile dramatically. Additionally, he mentioned a foot injury in his post-fight interview.

With nary a dull fight on the card, the UFC brass had plenty of options for post-fight bonuses at UFC Paris. In the end, forgoing a Fight of the Night, the promotion opted to award four Performance of the Night bonuses following Saturday's Fight Night event at the Accor Arena in Paris, France. Among the winners, incoming heavyweight Ante Delija, a former PFL champion who the UFC had first attempted to sign years ago.

After that "Party Time" breaks down his upcoming fight with Mario Mingaj, which takes place during an October episode of Dana White's Contender Series.

The death of UFC lightweight Fares Ziam's grandmother has seen him withdraw from UFC Paris this Saturday. Ziam (17-4) had been expected to face Kaue Fernandes at the Fight Night event, in a main card bout. The French star sits on a five-fight win streak that includes victories over Jai Herbert and Matt Frevola, among others. To date, he had fought on (and won at) every single one of the UFC's trips to Paris, starting with the promotion's debut at the Accor Arena in 2022.
