The Atlanta Braves acquired outfielder J.P. Martinez from the Texas Rangers in exchange for Tyler Owens.
Martinez, who made his major league debut in 2023, is expected to compete for the fourth outfield spot.
The Texas Rangers signed outfielder Travis Jankowski to a one-year deal and added reliever David Robertson on a one-year deal. [ more ]
