People smugglers recruiting skippers from central Asia on Turkey to Italy route
People smugglers are recruiting boat drivers from central Asia to transport migrants from Turkey to Italy.
The central Asian boat drivers have replaced Ukrainian and Russian skippers who were previously recruited by the Turkish smuggling gangs. [ more ]
