Kenda's new Dagger tire is designed for modern XC and marathon riders, balancing speed with cornering support and all-condition predictability.
The tire features a tread pattern designed for dry to damp conditions across rocky, hardpack, and medium-loose surfaces, incorporating a fast-rolling center section for straight-line efficiency.
The all-new Panaracer Gravel King ZX tire was built to maximize speed for intense gravel racing, developed to go as fast as possible on the straights with essentially the low-rolling resistance of a road slick.
The Live Valve Neo system reads terrain and rider inputs 400 times per second, automatically opening or firming the shock's compression circuit in a little as 1/70th of a second. This ensures that the shock is always optimized for the situation, firming up for efficiency, or opening up for plushness and traction.
The 32" tire started with a simple concept. Can it make top level XC racers faster in a real race situation? Our short tests have been pretty inconclusive. From what we've heard, it feels a tiny bit slower, yet it is incrementally quicker. That's great for an elite racer, but less so for my relatively slow rides.
The core idea here isn't gimmickry. It's composure. Specifically, the idea that a calmer, more composed ride creates speed, and that a platform intentionally designed around 32-inch wheels can deliver that in a way a scaled-up 29er simply can't.
Developed for road, gravel, and MTB, Dark Energy is the outcome of four years of dedicated research and development both inside the unique Muc-Off R&D Lab and also working closely with pro-team riders and performance staff. Over that period, more than 90 formulations were created and tested through a structured loop of rigorous screening, consisting of over 8,500 hours of dynamometer and tribometer testing and over 100,000km of real-world testing.
The GP5000 S TR is the all-rounder, balancing weight and protection for a fast but durable (and puncture protected) ride. Designed for general purpose road riding, the new size lets you push the boundaries of what "all road" really means. And the increased volume means you can run lower pressures for more traction and comfort while doing so.
It uses a semi-closed cell foam that works by slowly absorbing the air pressure in fully inflated tires. Then, when you puncture, the rapid release of air from your tire causes them to swell up and fill the tire, keeping you riding on air...almost like normal.
The beauty of chainrings is that they wear out, generally after a few seasons depending on how you ride, which means they are a perfect opportunity to give your old bike some new bling. At $75 a pop, they aren't exactly cheap. But the precision of these machined-in-Colorado 7075 chainrings is on point, and Wheels Mfg has a long record of making solid, long-lasting components.
