LNER organized a themed train service from Edinburgh to London for Oasis fans heading to sold-out concerts, requiring careful planning and special decorations.

A direct train service between London Bridge and Lewes in East Sussex is being reinstated by Govia Thameslink, which had discontinued it during the pandemic.

According to Mr Hostan's data, over the 15-day period, 41 of the 525 scheduled departures were no shows. Of these, 33 were during the morning rush hour and the longest gap between tubes was on Friday 2nd, when the 8.12am and 8.26am trains were both cancelled, leaving people waiting 41 minutes for the next train.

In 2024, only about 64 percent of DB's long-distance passenger trains reached their destination on time; in Switzerland, the equivalent figure was 93.2 percent.
