Paris Olympics organizers 'surprised' by reports of investigation into president's pay
The French National Financial Prosecutor's Office is reportedly investigating the salary of the president of the Paris Olympics organizing committee, Tony Estanguet.
Paris organizers have not been contacted by investigators and cannot confirm if a probe is ongoing.
Estanguet's pay was set in 2018 at 270,000 euros gross per year with possible performance-based incentives. [ more ]
