COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- David Coit tied the program's single-game record for made 3-pointers and scored a career-high 43 points -- including 30 in the first half -- to help Maryland beat Penn State 96-73 on Sunday for the Terrapins' first Big Ten win this season. Coit was 14-for-23 from the field, 9-for-15 from behind the arc and 6-for-8 from the free throw line.

He tied a school record with 11 threes and finished with 39 points in Edison's 96-82 victory over Long Beach Jordan on Tuesday night.
