Charles E. Probst, the enigmatic businessman who pledged $2 million to the Civic Arts Plaza, only to miss $350,000 in payments, has put his North Ranch estate up for sale. Probst, 53, agreed last year to deliver on his arts plaza pledge to settle a lawsuit.
