The Falcons should prioritize future draft capital over immediate trades to improve their current roster.
The Falcons are hiring Bears executive Ian Cunningham to be their next general manager, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Cunningham, 40, has been Chicago's assistant general manager for the last four years. He will replace Terry Fontenot, who was fired after five seasons on the job. Atlanta finished under .500 in every year of Fontenot's tenure, which featured zero playoff berths.
