Patriots reportedly plan to interview Lions' assistant coach for offensive coordinator vacancy

The New England Patriots will interview Tanner Engstrand, the passing game coordinator for the Detroit Lions, for their offensive coordinator role.

Engstrand has helped lead the Lions to one of the best passing games in the NFL this season.

This is Engstrand's first reported meeting with any team for a coordinator position. [ more ]

New England Patriots plan to interview Detroit Lions passing game coordinator Tanner Engstrand for offensive coordinator position.

Engstrand has experience as a graduate assistant at the University of San Diego and as an offensive analyst for the Michigan Wolverines.

Engstrand helped the Lions achieve success in the passing game with quarterback Jared Goff and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown. [ more ]
