NYC lifeguards to get another raise, retention bonus
New York City is increasing pay for lifeguards in an effort to counter the ongoing lifeguard shortage.
Base hourly pay will increase to $22 an hour for all lifeguards and returning lifeguards will receive a $1,000 bonus if they work through the peak season. [ more ]
