Saturn's Death Star' moon has hidden ocean under its crust, say scientists
Mimas, a moon of Saturn, has a hidden ocean buried beneath its crust, joining other moons in Saturn and Jupiter known to have subterranean oceans.
The subsurface ocean was discovered through analyzing Mimas's spin and orbit, which cannot be explained by a rigid interior. [ more ]
