Three dogs die of respiratory illness at a Florida shelter. What is being done in response?
A mysterious respiratory disease affecting canines nationwide has led to the deaths of three dogs at a South Florida animal shelter.
The disease is known as Streptococcus equi zooepidemicus, or Strep Zo, and causes fever, cough, and lethargy in dogs. [ more ]
