Michael Wiesinger will be signed as new sporting director and replace Markus Weinzierl in the position. Weinzierls contract expires in July 2026. A final decision on whether to let him go or give him another role at the Bayern campus has not been made yet. Wiesinger has already informed [Nürnberg] of his desire to leave. There are still contractual details left to clarify, such as when he will join [Bayern]. Initially, a start date of July was in mind.
