Capitals will wear lavender jerseys to Hockey Fights Cancer Night, but not on the ice
The Washington Capitals will wear specialty jerseys for their Hockey Fights Cancer night game.
The Capitals will not wear the jerseys on the ice during warmups due to an NHL directive.
The jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit cancer-related charities. [ more ]
