LADH Limited, a financial services company, has been fined £50,000 for sending over 31,000 spam text messages without valid consent.
The messages also did not provide recipients with an option to opt out, violating privacy regulations.
The ICO is cracking down on illegal direct marketing messages and urging organizations to ensure they have valid consent before contacting recipients. [ more ]
