QC New York on Governors Island is launching a month-long floating performance series, running every Saturday from December 6 through January 3. At 4:30 and 5:30pm, swimsuits replace cocktail attire as guests drift among thousands of flickering candles while a string quartet plays classical interpretations of pop, rock and hip-hop. (QC has partnered with Candlelight, a global series known for turning unexpected venues into music halls, to make the whole thing happen.)

Every detail of a stay is intentionally crafted to create moments that guests will remember long after departure, whether that's a quiet morning by the creek, a wellness session like our new floating sound healing, or simply gazing at the Red Rocks with a morning coffee.

Set amongst 240 acres of countryside (but handily just outside the M25), Coworth Park has country pursuits covered. There's a polo field and an equestrian centre, so you can explore the meadow, lakes and rest of the ground on horseback. You can walk through the gardens and discover the sculptures by Carol Peace. You can practice your serves and volleys on the tennis court.
