Sexyy Red's latest album lacks the vibrancy and originality of her breakout tape, resulting in a derivative and uninspired listening experience.
Back in the day, I ate up the slow-mo snap bounce he cooked up for the Ying Yang Twins' " Wait (The Whisper Song)," but I absolutely couldn't stand his work on David Banner's " Play," which was basically the same thing except with gym-floor squeaks that drove me crazy. I played his horn-rich beat for Jeezy's " Trap Star" endlessly, and I flipped the channel whenever the minimalist jig of " Ms. New Booty " popped up on BET.
Should we blame whoever it was who introduced a teenage Morgan Wallen to (I just know a young Morgan got in his feelings to " Good Ones Go Interlude" after a session at the batting cages.) Or Earl Sweatshirt for making fun of "White Iverson" so hard that he scared Post Malone into ditching FKi beats and Key! features for Nashville bars and Super Bowl ads with Shane Gillis?
