The K90 Max brings MediaTek's flagship Dimensity 9500 chipset, armed with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, boasting a 4,161,374 score on AnTuTu v11.
Smartphone shipments have been falling for the last nine months in the U.S. The concerning trend has affected the majority of smartphone manufacturers. But despite the downturn, phone makers are optimistic for a few valid reasons. The US smartphone market shrunk by 24 percent year-over-year in Q2 this year. Let's look at how the leading smartphone manufacturers have fared, and how they are trying to wade through the uncertain times.
The iPhone 17e: Replacing the iPhone 16e, the $599 smartphone will carry an A19 chip along with Apple's own networking and 5G chips. It will boast the same 6.1-in. display and 48 megapixel camera as the current model and will have MagSafe support. Given the positive reception to the base iPhone 17, the budget-friendly model should be popular as it delivers a lot of phone for the price. It's expected to appear later this month.
The top-of-the-line Galaxy S26 Ultra is currently available with a £170 discount on the 512GB and 1TB variants. The device is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset and introduces Samsung's new Privacy Display feature, along with a few other minor upgrades.
While Amazon UK's smartphone deals section doesn't feature any standout offers at the moment, there are still some solid discounts available on select devices. Those planning to pick up the OnePlus 15, Pixel 10/10 Pro, or an iPad Air should take a look at the deals below. Let's start with the OnePlus 15, which is currently available with a £50 discount. Although that's not much, it's still a decent deal.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is $300 off at the moment, which makes it cheaper than the Samsung foldable at equal storage levels. The Pixel is down on performance (Tensor G5 vs. Snapdragon 8 Elite), but it does have more RAM than most Z Fold7 configurations (only the 1TB model has 16GB of RAM). The main 48MP camera on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold has a disappointingly small 1/2.0" sensor, which looks insufficient next to the 200MP 1/1.3" sensor of the Galaxy.
