Senior Tory MP Bob Neill to stand down at next general election
Senior Conservative MP Sir Bob Neill is stepping down at the next general election to support his wife, who had a stroke.
Neill has served as Bromley and Chislehurst MP since 2006 and chaired the Commons justice committee.
In a letter to his local Conservative association, Neill praised Rishi Sunak's leadership and expressed confidence in the Conservative Party winning the new seat. [ more ]
