The Justice Department has notified Texas that it will sue if the state implements SB4, a bill that authorizes local and state law enforcement to arrest undocumented migrants at the border.

Texas officials are expected to begin enforcement of SB4 in March, but the Justice Department argues that the law is unconstitutional and will disrupt federal operations. [ more ]
