A disturbing scheme exploits impoverished individuals through staged accidents for profit, involving lawyers, unnecessary surgeries, and life-threatening risks.
The motorcycle driver, identified as 32-year-old Andy Peralta, made a left turn onto West Mosholu Parkway South after traveling northbound on Jerome Avenue, driving against traffic before colliding with the bus.
