Robo-dinosaur scares grasshoppers to shed light on why dinos evolved feathers
Scientists in South Korea built a robotic dinosaur to startle grasshoppers and learn more about the evolution of feathers in dinosaurs.
The results suggest that some dinosaurs may have used their proto-wings to flush out prey, leading to the evolution of larger feathers. [ more ]
