Black Sheep Coffee is preparing a major push in the United States through a 20-unit franchise agreement for North Texas with one of its existing UK franchisees, Yoloways Ltd. The new agreement proposes adding at least 20 stores over the next five years across the Metroplex, including confirmed locations in Bedford, Plano, Rowlett and Grapevine.
The cuts represent about 8% of Target's corporate workforce globally, although the majority of the affected employees work at the company's Minneapolis headquarters, the spokesperson said. Chief Operating Officer Michael Fiddelke, who is set to become Target's next CEO on Feb. 1, issued a note to personnel on Thursday announcing the downsizing. He said further details would come on Tuesday, and he asked employees at the Minneapolis offices to work from home next week.
The regulator has imposed "urgent interim measures" on Eircom to halt the offer, which has been available since last Monday. Eircom has been told to stop registrations for the promotion on its website, stop delivery of any leaflets with information about it and other marketing activities, and ensure all its agents stop promoting it as well. People who have already registered for the promotion this week can still receive the €50 gift card, however.
