Welcome to The Great Try-On.We're gearing up for spring, and that includes freshening up our wardrobes with some new pieces.We got to try on some of the best spring pieces from some of your favorite brands and documented it all from our at-home dressing rooms so that you can see how they actually look IRL.

Given how much time I spend looking through clothes every day for work, I've built up a tolerance of sorts to the awe of it all.There was a time in my life when I couldn't possibly have stared at beautiful things all day everyday without feeling called to indulge.But these days, my shopping guard is strong, and only on rare occasions do I stumble across items that feel really and truly too good to pass up.

There are so many reasons Reformation is one of my go-to brands for everything from great dresses guaranteed to make you the best dressed attending your next wedding to jeans that you could live in.Not to mention the brand's dedication to sustainability.With spring around the corner, it's the perfect time to give my wardrobe a little bit of a refresh.

I have recently been very unimpressed with my wardrobe.I find that I wear the same basics on repeat until they feel (and probably look) completely lifeless which leaves me feeling a little less than confident.Keeping in mind the power of a quality basic mixed with an elevated trendy piece, I decided to go on a hunt for a handful of new pieces to add to my regular wardrobe rotation.

I go through a similar cycle every single year.When fall first comes around, I avoid the sweater-and-jeans combo since I am scared that I'll get bored of it too quickly.I opt for sweaters and miniskirts or jeans and blouses.But around January, I finally take a break from styling fabulous outfits to simply ease into my collection of sweaters and slightly flared jeans and wear the same outfit formula on repeat.

They say fairytales can leave a lasting impression on kids.For me, it was Cinderella.Here was this poor girl who hustled away.Her only friends the literal rodents in her house.She finally gets an invite to the hottest soirée in town, gets all dolled up, and then LOSES her incredible heels ( borrowed, no less) after only one wear!

I was (fashionably) late to the jeans party.My first foray into pants was experimenting with my mom's old stirrup leggings, but beyond that, dresses and skirts were strictly my jam.Anything with separate legs felt restrictive and as far as hemlines were concerned, the shorter the better.That all changed when I discovered  vintage in high school.

Timeless and versatile, jeans are one of the fashion items most will agree are a must-have.Today, there are endless choices of styles, cuts, and washes .From '90s oversize fits to classic boot-cut jeans and patchwork denim designs, there truly is a pair of jeans for everyone.If you're looking for a staple and a wardrobe basic, nothing can beat a good pair of straight-leg jeans.

Ribbe, or roasted pork belly, is the most popular Norwegian Christmas dish in the country, just above traditional cured lamb ribs (pinnekjøtt).Yet, this holiday dish of crackling fat and pork is not an old dish in Norway like pinnekjøtt is.In fact, it probably arrived in the 18 th century, perhaps making its way from Denmark, and was found in eastern Norway, Trøndelag and the flatter regions where there was more emphasis on grain production and pig farming.

Something I often mention on here when writing about  Reformation is that yes, Reformation is home to many  pretty dresses and it'll always be known for that originally, but there is so much more to the brand than pretty dresses alone.These days, it makes everything from denim to shoes, and all of the categories, in addition to pretty dresses, deserve your attention.

If there's one thing I love it's something pretty.What can I say, I'm a libra and one of our key traits is our love with all things beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.Lately when I have been needing my fashion fix for something pretty to add to my wardrobe I'm going straight to  Reformation and Nordstrom.

It's officially that time of year when all of our favorite retailers drop their prices and bring on the discounts for the rush of holiday shoppers.Every year those of us  who love a good sale (me) wait patiently to do our major hauls at a discount and the wait is finally over.The retailer that has my attention this season is Reformation.

Target, the big-box retailer, is selling a 15-item collection of Christmas food novelties from Marks & Spencer, my all-time favo(u)rite British grocery store.The lineup, available in shops and online, is heavy on collector's tins, including one that's a music box and one shaped like a double-decker bus.
