Unstoppable.That's the word that summed up our feelings about the Japanese LGBTIQ movement after participating with over 200,000 other people in the recent 2-day Tokyo Rainbow Pride celebrations.A large rainbow festival took place on both Saturday, April 22, and Sunday, April 23, in Yoyogi Park, near the very popular and trendy Shibuya and Harajuku districts in Tokyo.

Despite admitting that he has never met anyone who "understands" what he characterizes as the transgender "agenda," North Carolina's anti-LGBTQ+ Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson (R) claims that "clinics" are performing "transgender surgery" on 5-year-olds.Robinson, who officially announced his bid to become North Carolina's next governor, made the false claim twice over the weekend, during an appearance in Georgia at the Faith Over Fear Rally, an event hosted by gun rights activist Lucretia Hughes, WGHP reports.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson has claimed that National Public Radio (NPR) is over-hyping anti-transgender violence to encourage the trans community to arm themselves with military-grade weapons.As "proof," Carlson pointed to a recent NPR segment about Rainbow Reload, an LGBTQ+ gun club based in New Hampshire.

Howard Brown Health, a nonprofit community health center in Chicago that is the largest provider of health and wellness care for the LGBTQ+ community and people living with HIV in the US midwest, has announced it wants to lay off at least 100 employees, or about 15% of staff.The layoffs were proposed as voluntary in the first instance, but the company says a reduction in workforce is required, suggesting that if 100 volunteers are not found then layoffs will be compulsory.

On Saturday, June 29, 2019, a group of over 200 queer and trans folks were gathered in New York City, celebrating the city's big World Pride weekend.They had all come to a party called NYC Inferno known for sexual activity.At around midnight, they were gathered in the front of the venue, rapt as an artist led them in an interactive performance.

On Friday night, attendees crammed into Berlin, Chicago's iconic LGBTQ club in Lakeview.While the crowd varied in terms of identities and gender expressions, the group melted into a single pulsing entity as Doja Cat's "Boss Bitch" thumped throughout the room.They dance with abandon, clad in zipper-studded red jumpsuits and black mesh crop tops, climbing onto the stage with chosen family and strangers, the world outside forgotten for a few all-too-brief hours.
