Lorries line up at Poland-Ukraine border as truckers expand blockade
Polish truckers and farmers are blockading a busy border crossing with Ukraine, protesting unfair competition and demanding more government support.
The truckers want the EU to reintroduce permit requirements for Ukrainian truckers and exclude empty trucks from an electronic queueing system in Ukraine.
Polish farmers are also joining the blockade, pressuring the government to provide support for low grain prices. [ more ]
