The Trans Mountain pipeline expansion is facing delays due to construction challenges in British Columbia. The project's in-service date has been pushed back to the second quarter of 2024.
The technical issues were discovered during construction work in the Fraser Valley between Hope and Chilliwack, B.C. Trans Mountain Corp. is focused on completing the pipeline and increasing its capacity to 890,000 barrels per day. [ more ]
