A Filipino Feast to Eat with Your Hands

Naks is a new Filipino restaurant in the East Village, seeking to showcase the food of the Philippines in the same way that the Unapologetic Foods restaurant group has done for South Asian cuisine.
Naks offers a prix-fixe kamayan feast, a Filipino style of dining eaten without utensils, with all diners led to a sink before starting their meal. The restaurant aims to provide an exuberant corrective to New York's understanding of Filipino food. [ more ]
