"We don't have a bomb shelter near our house, so we were just sitting on the floor in the corridor all night," Katia said.

The Anjuman-E-Himayat-E-Islam Trust in Thiagaraya Nagar, Chennai, is over a hundred and thirty years old a Trust that provides care and education for orphan children and children from a poor economic background. The project was envisaged for orphan boys between grades 6 to 12 and is located on a designated site within a 10-acre campus that houses a mosque, multiple educational institutions, vocational training centres, and accommodation for underprivileged children.

We organized this trip to give the children hope and to open their minds to what's possible... their answers were simple: visit the capital, see animals, and travel.

The faded photo captures three boys unaware of their connection as brothers. Taken in a Greystones orphanage in 1968, it symbolizes their shared yet separate beginnings.
